Welcome to Camping de l'Arros, a charming 3-star campsite located in the heart of the village of Plaisance du Gers. Situated just 400 meters from the church square, our campsite offers an ideal location to enjoy the numerous shops and services available in the village, including bakeries, a supermarket, and restaurants. Don't miss the traditional market held every Thursday, providing an opportunity to discover local delights.

Our campsite offers a total of 60 pitches, including 30 traditional camping pitches, 4 pitches with private sanitary facilities, as well as 11 chalets and 5 comfortable mobile homes. With its privileged position by the Arros River, you can enjoy canoe trips or peaceful fishing sessions.

Camping de l'Arros is a true haven of greenery. The spaces are well-wooded, providing shaded areas perfect for summer naps. Our campsite is known for its friendliness, and during the months of July and August, you can enjoy local music festivals. Don't miss Tempo Latino in Vic Fezensac, a lively salsa festival, as well as the country music festival in Mirande. Every weekend, the villages of Gers organize lively village festivals with meals accompanied by bandas, disco balls, and spectacular fireworks to celebrate July 14th.

Gers is abundant with lakes suitable for fishing and swimming. You can enjoy these beautiful bodies of water and dine at the surrounding guinguettes. There are plenty of leisure options, allowing you to have unforgettable experiences.

Throughout the year, Gers offers numerous opportunities for exploration. Visit the authentic villages of the region, participate in various activities, and enjoy the 50 hiking trails. Indulge in local gastronomic delights such as duck, goose, duck breasts, and foie gras, as well as renowned wines from Madiran, Saint Mont, Côte de Gascogne, Armagnac, and Floc de Gascogne.

Plaisance du Gers is conveniently located just an hour away from the Pyrenees, Lourdes, and Bagnères-de-Bigorre, offering unforgettable excursions to the Col du Tourmalet or the Cirque de Gavarnie. The campsite also offers discovery circuits, including the route of bastides and castelnaux, passing through Bassoues to reach Auch, the capital of Gers, as well as another discovery circuit to visit the northern part of the department, passing through Larressingle, Fourcès, and Condom.

At Camping de l'Arros, our promise is conviviality and vacations tailored to everyone, young and old. We offer a children's club in July and August, providing entertaining activities for children aged 4 to 10, from Monday to Friday from 10:30 am to 12 pm. During this time, parents can enjoy moments of relaxation and tranquility.

Next to the campsite, you will find the Midi Golf of Plaisance, a course that retraces the architectural history of the village. Enjoy a game of golf while discovering the charming features of the local heritage.
